As the holiday season approaches, picking gifts for your loved ones can be very stressful. Malls are packed, items are on backorder, and there always seems to be insufficient time. To help out with this holiday preparation, I have compiled my top three simple gifts to get for family and friends.
- Candle
This gift might seem too easy, but nothing is better than a good scent. When looking for a candle, I recommend a lighter scent, as a strong scent can often be overpowering. It is also important to look for candles that are non-toxic and made up of soy wax, coconut wax, and beeswax. Candles can be found in any department, home décor stores, and mass merchandise stores.
2. Throw Blanket
Who doesn’t love a comfy blanket? The soft, warm oasis that this gift brings is a match for no other. When looking for blankets, I recommend the Anthropologie Luxe Faux Fur Throw Blanket. These blankets can be found in-store, or online. Made with an ultra-plush feel, these blankets are one of the softest products I have ever touched. 3. Photo Mug
A sweet, heartfelt gift, a photo mug perfectly shows how much you care for this person. There are many websites you can make this gift on, but I recommend Shutterfly. Shutterfly allows you to use photos from your entire camera roll, and place where you want to put them on the mug. This gift comes straight from the heart and can be a reminder of all the fun memories you share.
