Paris Fashion Week is a biannual event showing the upcoming releases made by designer fashion brands. Every fall, the public can see a preview of the upcoming spring and summer fashion. In the spring, the public can see the upcoming fall and winter trends. The popularity of this event has exponentially increased since its creation in 1973. This has led to many celebrities attending Paris Fashion Week in order to display their own style. This past week, celebrities (some of whom include Kylie Jenner, Cher, and Usher) arrived in Paris to celebrate the new releases of Dior, Saint Laurant, and many more haute couture brands. Junior Tasha Otoka says, “I really like Kylie Jenner’s monochrome outfit and how it makes her hairstyle and glasses really pop.” Later this week Kylie’s sister, Kendall, stayed on theme with the red monochrome as she walked in the Schiaparelli show as a model. Junior Jasmine Royen says “I liked Kendall Jenner’s Strapless red dress in the Schiaparelli’s show. I love Kendall’s dress and how it is so classy, elegant, and unique. She really didn’t need any accessories because her hair and dress stole the spotlight!” Many of these celebrities chose simple attire by accompanying a monochrome outfit with a statement shoe or accessory.
