Almost hitting the one-month mark into the 2024-25 NHL season, there is still plenty of time to book your game tickets to see your favorite team play! Whether you’re a fan of the team or not, every hockey fan shouldn’t just book game tickets, but also enhance your hockey watching this year by booking plane tickets to experience the game on a whole new level at one of these five must see NHL arenas.
#5 Bridgestone Arena, Nashville TN
In recent years, Nashville has claimed the title and become a hockey town despite its commonly known claim to fame being in the music industry. It is in the perfect location on Broadway, the famous strip is home to some of the best country bars and live music in the U.S. and the party atmosphere carries on inside the rink providing one of the most unique, high energy hockey game experiences with a bonus aspect of entertainment as you will most likely see a country music singer perform the national anthem or intermission.

Despite its more recent establishment, T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas has a booming fan base guaranteed to give you one of the most electric atmospheres, and was even voted the best by the NHL players association. In perfect Las Vegas fashion each Golden Knights game is like a performance on the ice. The entertainment is non-stop with some of the best pre game rituals and light shows, music is always blasting and the party is always non-stop.
#3 TD Garden, Boston MA
One of the most underrated rinks in the league, TD Garden has been home to the Boston Bruins since 1995 following the legendary Boston Garden. Junior Julie Jacobus also approves of the new Garden explaining, “I liked how the stands are setup in a way where you can virtually see every person in the arena,” she goes on to describe the unifying atmosphere highlighting how it, “allows a complete stranger to celebrate a team they love with people they’ve never met providing a sense of connection between people and bringing them together through the love of the sport.” While the new arena cannot compare to its iconic origins it definitely continues to live up to its name by incorporating aspects of the original garden while modernizing the experience. Junior Alexa Harris also compliments the updates by observing from her recent experience, “The temperature was great the entire time and even though my seats were in the bleachers I could easily see,” in contrast to the old garden which did not even have air conditioning. It is in such an accessible location just north of the MBTA and on nights of games you can find hundreds of fans walking around town all night.
#2 Madison Square Garden, New York NY
Also known as “The Mecca” because of its fame is obviously high on the list for many reasons. One of which being the venue’s recent billion-dollar renovation making it much more fan friendly and vastly improving the already “World’s Most Famous Arena.” Placed in downtown Manhattan there are a multitude of restaurants and attractions you can visit prior to seeing the Rangers play.
