On Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, a third location of the highly acclaimed Massachusetts pizzeria chain Stoked opened its doors to customers. Due to its mouth-watering food, the restaurant has already earned hundreds of orders and dozens of regular customers. Hingham High School sophomore and Stoked regular Frank Csrnko claims, “They make the best pizza I’ve ever had.”

Aside from its delectable eats, Stoked attracts nightly crowds with an inviting atmosphere. The open restaurant has seating similar to that of a diner, furnished with televisions broadcasting local sports, creating an area enjoyed by families of all generations. Kids are attracted by a colorful drink and dessert menu, in addition to staple foods for picky eaters. For adults, a bar with exceptional screen access and service is placed separate from the main area. Further clientele is accommodated in the inclusive selection of the menu, offering gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan dishes. Hingham High student and vegetarian Shlok Patel appreciates this comprehensive catalog, remarking, “It was nice to order any of my favorites.”
The menu contains dozens of varieties of pizza, from a standard pepperoni or cheese to exotic dishes such as the “Vegetarian Cheeseburger,” or any other thinkable requests. All items can be ordered with quality guaranteed when cooked with fresh, local ingredients from Lilliput Farms in Wareham in an authentic wood stove.
Stoked’s interior reflects the vibe of its menu; Italian with popping aspects. The exposed brick walls are hung with modern art pieces and memorabilia of the restaurant’s history adding to the welcoming atmosphere. A section of the kitchen is separated only by a counter, allowing customers to view the pizza they ordered being mixed and baked by the staff of well-trained chefs. The lively atmosphere, exceptional service, and appealing aromas ensure every visit to Stoked is memorable.

The increasingly popular chain has humble beginnings, starting as a food truck in 2014 before opening brick-and-mortar locations in Brookline and then Cambridge in 2016 and 2021 respectively.
The store is located at 380 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, opening in place of the Chinese-Japanese fusion restaurant Feng Shui, which has held a place in the hearts of locals for the past twenty years. The departure of a staple restaurant in the palette of the North Shore is bitter, though luckily, we can anticipate decades of delicious pizza in its place.
