Drake Maye is a name that is now known in every household in the Northeast. As one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, the young star is growing quickly in fame for reviving the Patriots dynasty as he prepares for the AFC championship this Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
However, the last name of Maye now belongs to another growing celebrity, Ann Michael, Drake’s wife, who tied the knot with him this past June. Drake and former Ann Michael Hudson met in middle school in North Carolina when they were 12 years old. They dated all the way through high school and then attended the same college, The University of North Carolina, where Maye played with Ann Michael’s brother for a year. The couple graduated and then got married, residing in Westwood.
Drake, as previously mentioned, has experienced rapid fame growth over the past few months. Similarly, Ann Michael has been experiencing similar success since December 2025.
“Bakemas” was a holiday baking series on TikTok, created by Ann Michael Maye, in which she posted videos making something new each day for the month. It did not take long for her videos to go viral, and ultimately, by the end of the series, she had over 308,000 followers on TikTok with millions of views for particular videos.
However, that was not the only thing she took away from “Bakemas”; She has also recently teased her “Beyond Bakemas”, an NBC Sports cooking show in partnership with Dunkin and other guest stars. On the show, they bake treats and chat about Ann Michael Maye’s rise to fame, leaving others inspired by her skills in the kitchen.

Although her baking is what started her rise to fame, the popularity of her style at the Patriots games every weekend, as she is cheering on Drake, has gained a lot of attention. Most recently, she turned heads as she wore an“I ♥️ Drake Maye” hoodie with a giant fur coat, which was new for an NFL wife to wear, yet was extremely popular. She also gained a lot of looks for other game day looks that many fans were obsessed with.
It goes further than this, though. All over the Instagram page, fans are asking for links to sweaters, dresses, and other items that she wears to events. Sophia Kruzer, a freshman at HHS, stated that, “I actually really like how she wears all sorts of different outfits and accessories to the games, it’s super fun.”
To say the least, Ann Michael Maye is gaining popularity not just in the Northeast, but also nationwide, leaving fans in awe of an NFL wife with class, but also fun. Everyone is already counting down the days to see what she displays on Sunday, and is ready to cheer on Drake and the Patriots as they look to make another Super Bowl return.
