Popular artist Noah Kahan recently announced that he will be releasing a new album entitled The Great Divide on April 24, 2026. This announcement, which thrilled his entire fandom, was made on January 28, 2026 after teasing it on his secret TikTok account @thelastofthebugs. Senior Lila Johnson exclaimed, “I was so excited when Noah Kahan announced his new album. I grew up listening to his songs and I really enjoy his music, so I cannot wait to have brand new songs to listen to!”
However, considering The Great Divide album is not coming out until April, many fans were growing inpatient. Fortunately for those fans, on January 30, 2026, as a prelude to this eagerly awaited album, Noah Kahan released the song “The Great Divide”. This song has received high praise from fans. For example, Senior Carolyn Downey commented on “The Great Divide” by stating “I was extremely eager for Noah Kahan’s new album so when I heard that “The Great Divide” song was being released early I was so excited. I have recently been listening to it on repeat and I really like it! I cannot wait for the full album.”
Better yet, during the Grammy Awards on February 1st, Noah Kahan announced that he will be going on tour for The Great Divide album. Currently, there are four dates for Boston, all of which will be held at Fenway Park. These four dates are July 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th. With a massive following, these tickets were extremely hard to buy. Thus, many fans signed up for presales and scavenged both Ticket Master and the MLB website. In the end, the fans who were able to buy tickets were extremely excited. Senior Kaitlyn Manning explained, “I was fortunate enough to get tickets to The Great Divide tour on the 10th and I am beyond excited. I cannot wait to watch one of my favorite artists live at Fenway with my friends!”
Overall, there is much excitement surrounding Noah Kahan’s new album. If what we have seen so far is any indication, The Great Divide is sure to be a great album. I encourage you to give it a listen on April 24th!
