Last Tuesday, October 19, band, orchestra, and chorus had their fall concert. Concert band played a great piece called “The Great Locomotive Chase” that was exciting and suspenseful, and orchestra played “The Prelude to Carmen” and “Rhosymedre.” Vocal performances include chorus’ outstanding rendering of “As Torrents in Summer” by Edward Elgar, and choral spectrum’s singing of “Die Nachtigall” by Felix Mendelssohn. It was a great night with amazing performances.
