On Friday, January 6th, Hingham High School’s Girls and Boys Indoor Track and Field teams faced off against their biggest rival, Plymouth North. Coming in, both teams had strong showings, with top racers seeded in each race from the 55 meter dash to the 2 mile. The meet proved to be one of the most exciting as many races ended with neck and neck finishes. The 200 meter track was lined with parents, spectators, track and field alumni from previous years, and fellow teammates to give every ounce of support to those racing on the track. Though both tough losses for Hingham, the camaraderie and sportsmanship the teams demonstrated kept up their well earned reputation.
