After a long school year, seniors finished their last official day of school on a perfect spring day behind town hall for a celebratory  picnic. After a breakfast served by members of the junior class, seniors listened to a special guest speaker, “The Machine,” Dr. Jessie Green-a chainsaw sculptor artist. Then, they moved out to the field to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities which was followed by a delicious picnic lunch provided by senior parents. Seniors finished off the day by picking up their caps and gowns as well as lawn signs marking their accomplishments. On the way back to their cars, many seniors enjoyed a free ice cream from Nona’s ice cream truck. Overall, the day was a success.
