After an early dismissal on Wednesday, November 23, students headed to the football field for the Thanksgiving pep rally. Students filed into the bleachers before the sports teams were introduced. First was the girls soccer team, who won the MIAA Division 2 championship against Arlington last weekend. This was the third consecutive win for the team. The Athletic Director also recognized Field Hockey, Football, and the Dance Team. Braving the frigid air, the Dance Team performed their high energy hip hop routine that they competed with at States last weekend. After their performance, the Football Team recognized that the Thanksgiving Day game against Scituate will be the seniors last opportunity to play with the team, and that the student body should go and support them. Each senior also recognized a senior on the Dance Team by presenting them with a rose, in thanks for always coming to their games and being supportive and spirited. Next, teams of teachers and students competed in a tug-of-war challenge. Members of the Powder Puff Football Team also challenged each other to an intense game of tug-of-war. The pep rally concludes the Fall Sports season, and welcomes the upcoming Winter Sports season.
