Sophomore Stevie Macdougal flew through the butterfly leg of the 200 Individual medleys. He finished 6th overall with a time of 2:21.13.

Last Saturday, The Hingham Highschool Swim Team took home second place in the annual Patriot league Meet, bowing to their rivals, the Duxbury Dragons. However, the meet was an ultimate victory for the hard-working athletes who demonstrated their talents through outstanding races.

“Everyone has worked so hard this season,” Junoir Captain Cate Macdonald contested, ” It’s so fun to come to Patriot Leagues and watch it all pay off. Everyone gave their all to wrap up a great season.”

Sophomores Julia Rocket and Ava Burnham, and Junoir Sophia Matera won the title for Patriot League All-Stars. For the Boys, Junoir Captain Nolan Doherty and Sophmore Jake Bednarski took home also won, reflecting their dedication and contribution to the sport.

State and Sectionals qualifiers will represent Hingham High at these upcoming championship meets. They are predicted to make a splash!
