Hingham Unified Basketball Sweeps HPD

Hingham Unified Basketball had another fantastic game on November 9th, where the team played the Hingham Police Department. The game was in the gym and there was a tremendous crowd in both the student section and the rest of the bleachers. There was also a sports commentator who added to the game during plays. Officer Ford, HHS’s School Resource Officer, helped to organize this event and played hard during the game, along with the other HPD officers. There were even a few slam dunks from both teams which made the crowd even more hyped up. Hingham High’s community never fails to show their support at sports games. Senior Bridget Patten, who attended the game, commented: “It was so exciting to see our peers play against the Hingham Police Department. Everyone played so well, and there was a lot of effort put into the playing from both teams which added to the fun of the event”. The final score was 114 to 42, Hingham High’s win.
