The New England Patriots 2025-26 Campaign led by young quarterback, Drake Maye, has left the NFL speechless. Following the 4-13 record the Patriots had in the 2024-25 season, the expectations were low coming into the season. The young quarterback has shocked the league, leading the Patriots to a 11-2 record through week 14 of the NFL season.
Drake Maye currently ranks 1st amongst all quarterbacks in quarterback rating, second in the NFL in passing yards and completion percentage, as well as top five in passing touchdowns. After Monday night’s Primetime 33-15 win over the Giants, the Patriots currently hold the best record in all of the NFL. In the match versus the Giants, Maye threw for two touchdowns, 282 yards, and zero interceptions. In the shadow of Drake Maye’s astonishing campaign lie Trevon Henderson, who has 625 rushing yards on the year, and NFL veteran Stefon Diggs, who has 705 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns this season.
Students at Hingham High school have similar opinions regarding the Patriots dominant season. I asked Senior Teddy Anderson about the Patriots’ dominant season, to which he replied, “It feels great to have the restoration of an amazing dynasty right here in our backyard.” He also added, “I think Drake Maye is a great leader, and he is definitely at the top of the running for MVP this season.”
In addition, Junior Matthew Volpe commented on the dominant win the Patriots had over the Bills on October 5, 2025. Matthew said, “That game versus the Bills really solidified my ideology that the Patriots are the best in the league. I think the young QB is really leading this team so well. He definitely is in the running for MVP.”
It is clear that Drake Maye is a fan favorite throughout Hingham High School, as well as among the entire Patriots fanbase. The Patriots have created a spark that has made more teens invested in the players and the Pats community.
Overall, the New England Patriots have made a name for themselves at Hingham High School, and it seems to be an exciting conversation amongst students. If Drake Maye continues to lead this team, the Patriots have a serious shot at winning the Super Bowl this season!
