The start of the holiday season may be overwhelming. The weather is changing, many events and holidays are approaching, and the year is almost over. The most important thing about the thrilling season is to prepare and celebrate correctly.

Buying gifts for your loved ones can be seen as challenging, but many stores and malls are extremely helpful when buying the perfect gift! Derby Street Shops in Hingham MA, contains countless stores that have something for everybody—ranging from REI, camping, and outdoor activities and gadgets, Lululemon, workout, and athletic clothing for any age, Apple, to enjoy a new electronic or merchandise, or Gorjana, a perfect place to get jewelry for a special person. Derby Street is even decked out for the holidays and has many restaurants to celebrate with family and friends. Derby Street is known for its wide selection of different foods, Mexican, Italian, and even a tasty burger!

Hundreds of people also visit the Holiday Market at Snow Port in Boston. The cute area contains many small stores that have the perfect gifts and exciting activities, like ice skating, drinking hot chocolate, and visits with Santa! Shopper, Sam Ruddick, visited the Snow Port and mentioned, “It feels just like the North Pole. The whole spirit is through the roof, and it kickstarted my joy for the holidays. If anyone does not visit this unique market, they are missing out.”

One of the main activities that needs to be completed during the cheerful months is baking! Homemade cookies and peppermint treats will never go wrong while it is snowing outside. Hingham High School Student, Libby Rodgers, celebrated by making gingerbread houses and dinner with her friends! She thought, “With school, it is hard to get into the holiday spirit, but doing one jolly activity made the joy appear. I cannot wait for all of the exciting events and holidays that are ahead!”

Volunteering during the holiday season is also so heartfelt and important to be a part of. There are so many activities you can do to help volunteer to make others happy and give back to the community.

Most importantly, celebrate with the people you love and make the most out of the thrilling and heartfelt activities for the remainder of the year.
