In the past few years, both the men’s and women’s lacrosse teams at Tufts University in Medford have ranked among the most dominant teams in the sport. Both teams have had multiple playoff runs in recent years, with the Men’s team having back-to-back championships and looking to make that a third in a row this weekend against RIT at the University of Virginia.
The women’s team has made the final four five times in the past seven years, and hopes to win the tournament this weekend in Rochester. The team is led by a good mix of upperclassmen and underclassmen, indicating a strong future ahead while demonstrating their present dominance in the league.
Both teams this past weekend advanced to the final rounds of their respective playoffs, with the men clinching the national championship game and the women making the final four, making for some incredible moments this past week
