For the third time in as many years, Hingham High wrestling has won the Patriot League Championship under the leadership of Coach Paul Canniff and assistant coach Carl Pawlowski. HHS wrestling maintains a roster of over 50 wrestlers, the largest team of Coach Canniff’s tenure. Captains Joe Lindsay and Wes Ward have helped lead the team to another title, and wrestlers Sam Lincoln, Ben Hirtle, Vinny Barrese, JB Larson, and Joey Ryan have also made significant contributions. The team’s record as of January 29th was an astounding 20-2, and Hingham wrestling has remained dominant for the past several seasons. Coaches and players look to continue this trend for the future.
