On August 25, 2023, American pop-country singer and songwriter Zach Bryan released his fourth album “Zach Bryan. With over 27 million listeners on Spotify and considered the #160 most listened-to artist in the world, Zach has created a must-listen record that incorporates both current pop genres and classic country origins.

The sixteen new tracks on Bryan’s most recent album feature multiple guest appearances from other well-known musicians including Kacey Musgraves and The Lumineers. His connections to these performers have expanded the audience for his album and led to an increase in his fan base. Bryan’s creative songwriting and the upbeat instrumentals enthrall listeners as they dive into each song.

Sophomore Arianna Sood shared why she considers “Zach Bryan” to be one of her favorite albums: “He is one of my favorite artists. I was introduced to him through his song “Something in the Orange” on Tiktok, and have been listening to him ever since. His new album is so genuine and differs from the overproduced music that is so popular today.”

Zach Bryan made an intriguing decision by including a poem as the album’s first track. The poem “Fear of Fridays” lets listeners in as Bryan builds a self-portrait using guitar strumming and softly whispered phrases. His emotion-filled lyrics and voice connected with many listeners, including sophomore Addie Pheland. She depicts how including this poem has helped grow her appreciation of this album. “Although I’m not a huge fan of poetry, I felt like I was able to deeply connect to various parts of it. It also perfectly set up the rest of the album and led me to respect the message behind his songs.”

Despite the various contrasts in the contemporary world, Zach Bryan is fostering togetherness in an exceptional way. His new album can connect to a variety of listeners as he conveys serious topics such as losing a loved one to depression and loneliness. His emotional vulnerability makes his new album one of a kind and would catch the interest of any music lover.
