This Tuesday was the class of 2026’s final day of high school! To celebrate their last day the seniors had many different exciting activities!
The week leading up to their last day of school the seniors had their very last spirit week! The Thursday before their last day was the first day of spirit week. The first theme was for all of the seniors to wear their red 2026 senior shirts. Following that the Friday after was anything but a back pack day. So many people brought in so many different things from strollers and laundry bins to Hornstra milk boxes and easter baskets.
The next Monday all of the seniors wore white t-shirts and everyone went around signing each other’s shirts. Finally, on the last day of school all of the seniors wore shirts with their future plans including college, the army, and whatever anyone is doing after they graduate! The last day was so exciting for all the seniors, but also very sad that it was their final day of high school ever! After the seniors last day of school senior Sam Ruddick said “I am so happy that it is finally summer, but I can not believe that it was my very last day of high school ever and I am so sad!”
Following their last day the seniors had field day the Wednesday after their last day, here they had so many different fun games and activities that they could do with their class for the final time. Along with this the seniors have so many other fun activities to look forward to! Next Thursday May 28th, 2026 the seniors have their prom. They will all get ready and take pictures then walk down the red carpet at hingham harbor with either their date or friend!
Senior Emily Kiernan is so excited for prom and this is evident when she said “I am so excited for prom! Last year was so fun and I know this year will be even more fun!” Finally the seniors have their graduation on May 30th! Following that they have senior lock in when they stay up all night in the school.
This year’s senior class has had an amazing 4 years and also amazing activities to remember their` final year in highschool!
