Cracker Barrel Changes Owners

Cracker Barrel Change Up For myself and many others, the Cracker Barrel has been a great store to stop by every so often. Beyond being able to buy a freshly cooked hot dog, ice cold slushy, or sweet candy, the Cracker Barrel gained notoriety and maintained it through many years because of the generosity of the owner. Paul LeBlanc, a local Hingham citizen who has run the store for a while and not taken it for granted. “The Barrel has been so much more than a job, it has been a place where customers have turned into cherished friends, and employees are like family.” Now Mr. LeBlanc passes the baton and new owners to run the store step in. The married couple who will share the ownership, Hugh and Maryellen MacClaughin understand they have tough shoes to fill when the Cracker Barrel reopens later this spring. “We prioritize taking care of the store because it means so much to Paul. It’s just as important as serving customers for him.” As someone who has vivid memories of riding my bike to the Cracker Barrel at a young age and going ever sense is interested to see how new ownership alters the Cracker Barrel.
